POBCO-B HARDWOOD (NO-STATIC BUILTUP)
POBCO-B lubricant-impregnated hardwood bearings, wearstrips and components often provide the best overall service of our various materials. These natural fiber bearings are 100% filled with a blend of fluid lubricants. They render a greater speed / load capability and have a lower wear rate factor than many plastics. This material is suitable for indirect contact only in the food and beverage industry. (100% dielectric).
The reason for using POBCO-B Lubricant-impregnated hardwood is because it has some unique properties including:
Self-lubricating - 40% of the total component weight is lubricant.
Life long lubrication gives less wear, long life and improves profit.
Superior in ardous, dry and dirty conditions particular when the component comes into contact with slurry, dust, soil and powders, lubricantfilled hardwood outperforms conventional baearing in many applications.

POBCO ULTRA-D (RATED FOR 180 DEG F) AND POBCO HI-TEMP ULTRA-D (RATED FOR 275 DEG F)
Both the Ultra-D and Hi-Temp Ultra-D bearings and wear strips are made from Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE). This material is widely used to reduce friction from metal and metal contact. Applications are often in the precense of abrasive particles, wet environments, and will tolerate expose to many chemicals. It is FDA and USDA appoven for direct contact with food products. (special blends and colors available)
POBCO Plus bearings and components are manufactured utilizing a food grade fluid lubricant united with UHMW-PE plastics. This product was developed to retain the basic properties of UHMW-PE while creating a plastic bearing material which reduces the coefficient of friction and wear rate factor. POBCO Plus meets all official requirements for use in the food and beverage industry. Reduces drag and friction up to 40
POBCO Blue UXC UHMW
Is primarily used as Guide material for Table Top and Roller Chain applications. This blend of UHMW has a coefficient of friction of 50% to 75% less than standard UHMW when used with Acetal. PET and Steel TableTop Chain. Other characteristics include: outstanding dry-running properties, FDA compliant, noise reducing, and eliminates the slip-stick effect (back-sliding).
POBCO STATIC-DISSIPATIVE / ANTI-STATIC MATERIALS
POBCO offers several plastics materials with varying degrees of static-reduction capabilities, including black Ultra-D (UHMW). These materials can help solve electrical discharge and dirt / grimme attraction problems. These materials offer exellent wear and bearings properties and are available in many standard and custom shapes and sizes including Guide Rails, Wear Strips, Clip-Ons, Bearings and Convoyer Rollers. Minimums may apply. These plastics materials are not FDA / USDA compliant.
Static-Dissipative Range: Surface Resistivity 10:5 - 10:9 ohms / square. Anti-static Range: Surface Resistivity 10:9 - 10:14 ohms / square.
POBCO HI-WEAR CPUHMW
33% more wear resistant than unfilled UHMW. Excellent for use as Chain Guides, Bottle-Neck Guides, Liners and in waste Handling applications. Not FDA / USDA compliant.
POBCO ACETAL (DELRIN)
POBCO molded Delrin bearings and components find their primary usage in light to medium duty applications. POBCO machined Delrin bearings can be made for heavier duty applications. Our Delrin equipped rollers have low overall cost while affording long service life. Acetal is FDA, USDA compliant. Acetal is more resistant to hot steam cleaning than UHMW.
POBCO NYWEAR (FDA & NON FDA MATERIALS)
POBCO Nywear bearings and components are especially suited for high heat (230 F) material handling applications. This fluid lubricant plastic renders exeptional wear and abrasive resistant capabilities with low heat build up. High PV limit.
NYLON MD (NYLATRON GS)
POBCO Dry Lubricant-filled Nylon bearings and components are preferred for heavy load, high speed operations up to approximately 220 F operating temperatures. Color is charcoal gray / black.
POBCO RULON LR (NON FDA)
Specially compounded forms of PTFE Fluropolymer used as a bearing material which requires no lubrication and is capable of performing under severe temperature and corrosive conditiuons. The operating temperatue ranges from -400 to +550 F.
POBCO RULON 641
White plastic is approved for use in the food and Drug, and Chemical Industry. This material is common for high heat applications up to 550 F. It's friction decreases rapidly with increasing load. Other grades of Rulon also ar avaiable with higher / lower PV values for nonfood applications.
POBCO PTFES & FLUROCARBONS
Highly chemically resistant, with operating temp. range of 450 - 550 F depending on the additive. High PV ratings and some food grades avaible
POBCO FLUORSINT 207
High Temp. 500 F MICA filled PTFE (PTFE) material; FDA compliant; less abrasive & more resistant than common filled PTFE materials; suitable for steam or hot air use.
Is a HI-Temp (500 F), proprietary blend of PTFE. POBLON is FDA / USDA compiant. Used in food and pharmaceutical applications such as ovens, fryers, proofing & curing operations. A less expensive alternative to Rulon 641. Color is off-white.
High Temp. 480 F, High PV limits, low coeficient of friction excellent chemical & wear resistant.
4301 Bearing grade, High Temp. 475 F, dimensionally stable & chemically resistant at High Temps. High PV Limits.
POBCO PET-P (POLYESTER)
Better stability than Acetals, less moisture absorption & better wear resistance than many plastics, operates at 230 F continuosly, FDA compliant, weater resistant. Good chemical and abrasion resistance.
POBCO KYNAR (PVDF)
Resistance to many concentrated acids, alkalis and solvents, runs up to 300 F in many applications, FDA & USDA compliant non-leaching, meets USDA 3A standards for dairy equipment.
POBCO PTFE COATED FABRIC & PRESSURE SENSITIVE TAPES
High Temp. belting, heat sealing liners, wear strips, FDA compliant grades, flexible non-stick, stable, low friction.
POBCO DRY WEAR DRY LUBE FILLED UHMW-PE
Black color Non-FDA. Improved coefficient of friction and anti-static properties. Beter in dusty applications; less build-up. UV stabilized
